Meet Dr. Kingsley
Family
My name is Kelly Kingsley. I was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in La Vista, Nebraska. My parents, Denny and Breta Jackson, still live in the house I grew up in. I have one brother, Darin Jackson, who is a Emergency Room doctor in Lincoln, but lives in Elkhorn with his wife and three sons. My sister, Nikki Long, is a preschool teacher, and lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with her husband and two daughters.
I have been married for 28 years to a wonderful man, Jim Kingsley. We met in college and have been best friends ever since. Mr. Kingsley is a senior vice president for Pentagon Federal Credit Union. I have two gorgeous daughters, Maggie who is 23 and a kindergarten teacher at Peter Sarpy Elementary, and Molly who is 19 and a sophmore at Wayne State College. I also have two beautiful rag doll cats name Lexa and Lacey.

I am a Papillion-LaVista High School graduate. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in art from Kearney State College, now University of Nebraska at Kearney. Work
In the summer of 1988, I was hired to teach for Bellevue Public Schools. I was assigned to Wake Robin Elementary. My first year of teaching I taught 6th grade. For then next 4 years I taught 5th grade. I then was able to move to a 3rd grade classroom and have been teaching 3rd grade at Wake Robin ever since. I have other jobs that I do for Bellevue Public Schools: I am of one the Literacy Facilitators at Wake Robin, and I also am the Kindergarten through 3rd grade Writing Facilitator for the district. I am a team leader at Wake Robin and also help sponsor the Word Wizard Club and Student Council.
Interests
Outside of school you can find me relaxing around the lake we live on or hanging out with my family. I have taken up the game of golf, and while I need a lot of practice, I enjoy playing the game with my husband and friends. I enjoy shopping with my daughters, spending time with my family, cooking and baking, taking pictures and making online scrapbooks, and reading.
